Article Creation and Naming Policies

Article Content

• If the article content can be expressed through an available template, use it! If no template exists, there may be a possibility that there should be a template but it has not been created yet. In that case, make the template or notify an administrator.
• All articles should be categorized if possible. Items should be placed under all applicable categories, such as element or attack type. Category:AdventureQuest Encyclopedia exists as a catch-all for AQ-related articles if no specific category exists. It is also the master category for all AQ-related categories.
• Articles with templates should be in the order of special marker templates (such as {{guardianonly}} and {{rare}}), followed by the main template, followed by any additional notes about the subject.

Article Grammar/Language

• All articles must be in standard English.
• Proper, correct grammar is expected in all articles.
• Use American style spelling and formatting. This means that colour should be color, criticise should be criticize, and 4.200,54 should be 4,200.54 (comma is the thousands separator and the full stop is the decimal point).
