Mogloween is an annual holiday in AdventureQuest.

Mogloween

Mogloween is a holiday meant to celebrate both Halloween and the birthday of AdventureQuest. It is often quite late, and many players enjoy poking fun at the fact that projected dates for additions to the game used to be, and sometimes still are, rarely met.

Starting 2007 AD Mogloween is also a holiday in Dragonfable, and a special event has been created to explain the creation of the holiday and why moglins turn into Moglinsters on Mogloween.

Trick or Treating

During Mogloween, players are able to Trick or Treat at houses. Players are either given candy, have to fight a random enemy or meet a moglin. If you are wearing a mask (which can be found hidden in the game or "bought" with candy) the moglin may give you candy, but if you are not, it will transform into the horrible Moglinster and attack you.

Houses

Houses all have a name, randomly selected from a list. The names are selected from the Hall of Fame lists as well as from the staff members. Players sometimes like to make lists of the names that they have found, and some are amused to find their own houses, as well as enjoying joking about what they have found at other players' houses.

Uses of Candy

Candy can be exchanged at a Mogloween shop for a piece of the Pumpkin Set or one of a wide selection of masks. Some of your candy will spoil if you leave the Mogloween base screen (where you cannot get healing from Twilly) so you can eat some of your candy to heal yourself. Candy is counted as a temporary object, so logging out will result in the loss of all your candy.

After each Mogloween, players are able to purchase the Pumpkin Set.
