Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get stat points?

Every time you level up, you gain 5 extra stat points to use.

How do I train stats after I have recieved stat points?

To train stats, click on Twilly in Battleon, click on "Visit the Stat Trainers", then choose the stat you want to train.

How much does stat training cost?

The cost of training a stat is (your current stat level)2 * 0.8
Example:
If you have 30 STR, and you want to train STR again, it will cost 302 * 0.8, or 720 gold.

How do I untrain stats?

To untrain stats, do the Death's Domain, or Hourglass quest. To reach it, die, then when Death comes up, look near where his feet should be, then click on the hourglass. Accept the quest, then look around for and enter the purple swirly things. Occasionally, you will be transported to a graveyard. When you do, click on the tombstone that says "Sir Pwnsalot." Next, click on the stat you want to untrain, then LOSE to him. After you have found him once, Guardians can access the untrainer via the Guardian tower teleporter.
Note: You will not get your money back if you untrain a stat.

Why would I want to untrain stats?

The main reason for untraining stats is to change your build. For example, you probably put equal amounts in all stats when you first started playing Adventure Quest, not knowing what the stats did. After you get a good understanding of the different builds, you might want to become, say, a pure mage, so you might want to untrain your STR and CHA and put the points into INT.
