Refresh link at bottom of main page

The wiki uses a system of caching to conserve server resources. The main page is written in such a way that in incorporates what the wiki considers other pages (although they're technically just elements of itself). The wiki caches these elements so as to have them preloaded for when the main page displays, which is all good, until an element, for instance, the featured article, or the welcome box, is updated, but the main page continues to display its cached version. There is, of course, an extremely simple workaround for this, and for caching in any page, by simply appending "&action=purge" to the end of it in the url bar and hitting enter, but for the convenience of all involved, could you put in a small "refresh this page" link at the bottom of the main page? The wiki code for it is extremely simple, of course:

[{{SERVER}}{{localurl:{{PAGENAME}}|action=purge}} Refresh] this page.

Copyright violation

This logo should have been replaced a long time ago. I replaced the default MediaWiki one with this and this was only supposed to be short-term generic image. However, soon (possibly this month, when I finally have time to do it) the skin being used right now will be replaced with one more themed for the site and the template will NOT include the image. --InfiniSoft (^T/_C) 16:46, 2 December 2006 (EST)
