Z-tokens are a currency in AdventureQuest. They are used to purchase items from the Z-Token Shop.

Obtaining Z-Tokens

This notice appears if you receive Z-Tokens after a battle.

One way of finding Z-tokens is to buy them with real-life money. As of July 5, 2006, the price for 2,000 Z-tokens is $9.95 USD and $19.95 USD for 5,000 Z-tokens.

Another way of finding Z-tokens is to battle monsters. At the end of battles, after receiving the experience points and gold, there is a chance that you will gain a few Z-tokens. If any Z-tokens are gained, the game makes it clear through a notice similar to the one you see your gold and experience points on after the battle.

While viewing your experience points and gold after the battle while the game is saving, coins will fountain out from behind the scroll. This special effect does not show or determine how many Z-tokens you obtain, if any.

Using Z-Tokens

To use your Z-tokens, click on Valencia in front of the Inn in BattleOn. This shop sells items that can only be purchased using Z-tokens. These items include weapons, armors, shields, spells, pets, and misc items, and range in price from 100 to 6000 tokens.

Z-tokens can also be donated to your chosen Paxia clan.
